(Senior) Sales Consultant (m/f/d)

Ihre Aufgaben:


Abacus is a market leading, and award winning, standard software solution for regulatory reporting across the financial services industry. Our products cover the entire regulatory value chain and across a range of reporting including Banking (e.g. CoRep, FinRep, EBA, ECB etc), Insurance (e.g. Solvency II) and Transactional Reporting (e.g. MiFiD II, EMIR, SFTR) as well as products designed for Supervisory bodies to collect reporting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Working along a highly effective and skilled core sales team to market, sell and deliver our Abacus solutions and engagements
  • Accountable to the Partner responsible for Financial Industry within RegTech business
  • Responsibility for building strong commercial and long term relationships with key account clients and prospects within Continental European financial services industry (focusing on BeNeLux, Nordics & Baltic States) to sell and promote our Abacus product suite as well as to enhance the reputation of BearingPoint as a trusted advisor and generate ongoing revenues
  • Maximise contact with key accounts, key contacts and other critical people across the group and focus efforts to obtain new work and generation of new enquiries for BearingPoint
  • Manage Sales / Business Development process / pipeline for BearingPoint to ensure we achieve our sales targets
  • Ensure that BearingPoint is on relevant tender lists and preferred supplier lists
  • Bid management and leading RFP responses
  • Provide input to marketing plan
  • Represent BearingPoint at seminars and conferences
  • The role will be part of the European & firm-wide financial Services team
  • The role is potentially based out of Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Luxembourg & Stockholm

Damit punkten Sie bei uns:

  • Team player with the ability to deliver projects and to work within integrated, multi-disciplinary project teams
  • Five or more years’ experience in or with the financial Industry with primary focus on banking and relevant products services and relevant regulatory reporting and/or regulatory management functions
  • Minimum of three years’ experience with a major business consulting firm or a software provider for Banking / regulatory solutions
  • Strong relationships and network at C-level
  • Proven track record in generating new business, developing new key accounts and delivering profitable industry / customer sector growth
  • Good understanding of proposition development, proposal development and high impact client presentations
  • Exceptional customer awareness, long term relationship building and sales skills including account planning, account marketing and brand building
  • Excellent communication, consultative selling and negotiation skills
  • Effective Pipeline Management
  • Experience in one of the following areas: Regulation, IT strategy transformation, information management, system implementation
